RT Hub was founded as a startup at the Institute of Recycling and Environmental Technologies, located at the Faculty of Materials, Metallurgy and Recycling (FMMR) at the Technical University of Košice. Our main goal is to create a universal technology transfer center within the institute, which will contribute to improving environmental protection, reducing the amount of waste production and the associated costs of its disposal, and will contribute to the creation of new jobs and reducing the EU's dependence on the extraction and import of these raw materials. The goal is to create technologies directly according to customer requirements and thus produce recycled products that can be reused at the point of origin. In addition, we set ourselves the task of better connecting academia with industrial partners in order to support the employment of our students in the labor market through practical internships and projects, while providing them with valuable experience and skills necessary for their future careers.
